Keith Criswell – Pre-Press

How long have you been working at JS?

Since 2006

In your own words, describe your job duties:?

I take care of the pre-press work on every publication that comes through. This includes toning images, pagination and adjustments that the customer needs help with.

What did you do before you worked at JS?

I worked at the Birmingham News as pre-press manager.

Tell us about your family:

I have been married for 25 years and have 3 children: Jordan (21) is a Senior at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama, Lauren(17) is a high school Senior and Savannah(16) is my youngest and is a Junior is high school.

What is your favorite thing about working at JS?

Every day is different so I never get bored! I love working with all my co-workers and enjoy helping schools get great looking publications.

List 3 Random Facts about yourself, GO!

I majored in History and Political Science. I love to study and read about World War 2. I like all kinds of music: from jazz and blues to Rock, Country and Heavy Metal ! I like to lift weights and work out.

Unbroken by Laura Hilenbrand

What is the most memorable publication/project that you have worked on in the past year and why is it most memorable?

It’s challenging to name just one! I know each year, we seem to get better looking newspapers and magazines. Some of the literary magazines and books are spectacular pieces of work!
